The Plot

From what I've gathered, State of Affairs centers around a CIA analyst named Charleston Tucker (played by Heigl) who is tasked with briefing the President of the United States (played by Alfre Woodard) on the most pressing national security issues. But things get complicated when Tucker's fiancé is killed in a terrorist attack, and she sets out to find those responsible.

My Thoughts

I have to say, I'm really looking forward to checking out State of Affairs myself. The premise sounds intriguing, the cast is fantastic, and the early reviews have me feeling optimistic. Plus, I always enjoy a good political thriller - and this one seems like it could be a real winner.
